Salma Hayek continues her reign as the queen of bikinis, posting an obligatory pool shot for National Bikini Day on July 5. The "Black Mirror" actress, who is a Gucci muse and avid fashion lover, chose a multicolor patchwork design by Zimmermann for the occasion, replete with a crochet-stitched trim. The triangle string bikini bottom features side ties with gold hardware at the ends, acting as a subtle accent to Hayek's chandelier drop earrings — a very bohemian touch. Hayek, 56, opted for a fresh face with no makeup, and her wavy brown hair was parted at the center and left down. Her final accessory was her silver wedding band, which drew attention to her nude colored manicure.

"Happy #NationalBikiniDay! 👙Can you believe the bikini has only been around for 77 years?! Let's hope they don't ban them too #notathrowback," she captioned her photo, which invited plenty of comments from her fans and fellow celebrities. Designer Harris Reed simply wrote, "Icon," and "Wedding Crashers" star Isla Fisher left three flame emojis.

Hayek posted another bikini shot one month prior while lounging on a boat in a gray two-piece and statement sunglasses. She also rang in summer in an oversize felt sunhat, which she styled with a dark-wash denim corset and jeans from Alexander McQueen. At a June 13 screening of her "Black Mirror" episode in New York, she sported a Mary Katrantzou midi dress with an aquatic feel. The look, styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, was swathed in teal and rose gold sequins and finished with jewels from Boucheron.
